No doubt the Incas was one of the greatest civilizations in ancient times; Amazing hundreds of visitors to the city of Cusco. Since we left several samples of his great knowledge in architecture and fascinating works that will surprise you. A sample of this great genius is Q’eswachaca the last Inca bridge.
The name comes from two Quecha Q’eswachaka words “Q’ESWA” meaning Braids and “CHAKA” which means bridge; which means bridge twisted together.
Itinerary
Day 1
Cusco – Four lakes – Queswachaca
The trip starts in the city of Cusco with pick up from your hotel at 7 am approximately south-west. After nearly two hours of trip we will visit the four lagoons: Laguna de Pomacanchi, Acopia Lagoon, Laguna Asnaqocha and Pampamarca or Tungasuca lagoon. After enjoying a quiet moment near the lagoons, the next place to visit is the small pavilions volcano is located near the village of Yanaoca.
Finally we arrive at the Apurimac River and the impressive Inca Bridge. This bridge Inca hanging this fact vegetable fiber (Ichu) and is located on the Apurimac River in the district of Quehue. The existence of this bridge dates from the Inca period, renewal and maintenance is done once a year by the local people of the four communities that are around. Before starting with the renovation of the bridge an offering is given a sign of respect and gratitude to the Pachamama.

Combapata way back to our delicious lunch awaits us in this village where later we will make a last visit the Inca bridge colonial Combapata where you can see the differences between the two bridges. This interesting journey ends in the city of Cusco at 5:00 pm approximately.
