Experience an impressive tour of the set of salt pits, the salt pans of Maras and the terraces of Moray a marvelous perfect combination of scenic and historical beauty most of Peru, since the Inca times.
Itinerary
Then we will start the journey in the northwest direction of the city of Cusco, passing through very typical populations of beautiful landscapes. The first point of visit will be the town of Maras, from where you can see the summits Vilcanota mountain range covered with perpetual snowfalls like; the snowy “El Chicón” and “La Verónica”, then we will visit the Archaeological Complex of Moray, set of huge terraces that are superimposed concentrically in a gigantic hole. Finally, we will visit the Salineras which are constituted by some 2000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², exploited since Inca times, colonial times and that are still being exploited by the locals. After our visit, we will return to the city of Cusco.
